World Class Local
Baiduri Bank, established in 1994, is a member of Baiduri Bank Group, one of the largest providers of financial products and services in Negara Brunei Darussalam. The Bank’s shareholders include Baiduri Holdings, Royal Brunei Airlines, Royal Brunei Technical Services and BNP Paribas.

Widest Choice of Financial Products
core business includes banking services to: institutions or corporations, retail banking, consumer financing and wealth management. Baiduri Bank's payment card business has the largest card member and merchant base in the country. It is the only bank in Brunei to hold franchise for four major card brands, namely, American Express, Visa, MasterCard and UnionPay, offering the widest range of payment cards to meet the needs of different customer segments.
Baiduri Finance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baiduri Bank which came into existence in 1996, has already captured a significant portion of the automobile financing business, it is now the country’s leading finance company.
Multiple Service Delivery Channels
Baiduri Bank's branch network consists of 13 branches, a finance arm with two branches and 29 ATM locations, making it readily accessible to customers. The Bank also offers an enhanced internet banking service with two versions – for business and for personal use. A Personal i-Banking mobile app was launched in June 2013 followed two months later in August 2013 with the launch of Baiduri Deals, a marketing app, which is the first in the market that dispenses e-coupons that is redeemable for goods and services or discounts at selected merchant outlets.
Awards and Accolades

In July 2014, Baiduri Bank was awarded the “Domestic Retail Bank Brunei 2014” for the second consecutive year from the Asian Banking and Finance Magazine and “Best Banking Group Brunei 2014” for the sixth consecutive year since 2009 from World Finance Magazine.

In 2013, the Bank received three prestigious international banking awards: the "Domestic Retail Bank Brunei 2013" from the Asian Banking and Finance Magazine, the "Best Banking Group Brunei 2013" from World Finance Magazine for the fifth consecutive year and the "Strongest Bank Balance Sheet 2013 for Brunei" from the Asian Banker Magazine. Other recent awards include the "Best Retail Bank Brunei 2012" from the Asian Banker for the first time, the "Bank of the Year Brunei 2012" from The Banker, UK for the ninth time and the "Company of the Decade 2001-2010" award by World Finance in 2011. The Bank of America Meryl Lynch gave Baiduri Bank recognition as a "Leading Commercial Payment Partner Bank in Brunei" for achieving a Straight-Through Processing (STP) rate of 95% in December 2012.

Leadership & Innovation
Renowned for its strength, commitment and innovation in the Brunei market, Baiduri Bank has many ‘first’ to its name. Among some recent firsts are:
  • The first to offer in-store and in-mall banking seven days a week
  • The first to launch the internationally accepted Visa electron debit card, MasterCard electronic CashCard and Ladies Card
  • The first to offer co-brand credit cards including the first co-brand card with American Express and the country’s national carrier Royal Brunei Airlines
  • The first and only bank to provide money remittance facilities under the Western Union Agency.
  • The first and only bank to introduce multi-currency ATM dispensing US dollars, Singapore dollars, Euros and Brunei dollars.
  • The first bank to launch a marketing app that dispenses e-coupons.
International Operating Standards
Baiduri Bank’s wholly owned subsidiary, Baiduri Finance is certified to ISO 9001, the seal of quality management system. To date, Baiduri Finance remains the only organization within the financial services sector in Brunei to have achieved this internationally recognized certification.

Corporate Social Responsibility
As good corporate citizens, the Baiduri Bank Group is committed to helping community development. Among others, the Group regularly provides financial support for child development programmes in the country. The annual Baiduri Masters charity golf event is a fundraising initiative in support of these organizations. Included in Baiduri Bank Group’s CSR calendar are: the Universal Children’s Day, the World Blood Donor Day and a SME partnership programme which aims to nurture Brunei SMEs.
Financial Strength
With total assets in the group exceeding BND2.7 billion in 2013, Baiduri Bank Group is ranked amongst the top banking groups in the country. In April 2014, Baiduri Bank became the first bank in Brunei to be rated by an international rating agency when it received an impressive "BBB+/A-2" rating from Standard & Poor’s with a stable outlook.
